Forming a bidding consortium with the Austrian Solve Consulting Managementberatung GmbH, the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf (UKE) was awarded the contract for the operational planning of the Inselspital Bern. In the Europe-wide call for tenders regarding the further development and modernization of the tradition-steeped Swiss university hospital, the UKE and Solve prevailed over renowned international competitors. The Inselspital treats more than 36,000 in-patients and approximately 215,000 out-patients annually.
