Kantonsspital Baden

In autumn 2010, the UCM was commissioned to assist the Kantonsspital Baden (KSB, Baden Cantonal Hospital) in the development of a conceptual master plan.
The KSB is responsible for the medical care of approximately 300,000 inhabitants in the eastern part of the Aargau canton, and with 1865 employees, is one of the largest employers in the region.
17,163 inpatients and 62,653 outpatients were treated at the hospital in 2009. With an average of 376 beds, the hospital achieved a net profit of approximately 560,000 Swiss francs (about 418,000 €).
